One can visit the athletic fields, go boating, visit the community center that has very diverse class options, dog areas, many parks, trails, and pools.

Hanford's current efforts towards environmental restoration has been mainly focused on the River Corridor. This effort will hopefully be complete in 2015 and the cleanup area will go from over 580 square miles to a central 75 square miles.

Richland has many desirable neighborhoods and the school system is highly regarded. Kadlec Medical Center provides "state of the art" care and has been awarded the Intensive Unit Beacon Award presented by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
